Some people say they can see the resemblence with one eye closed. :-) I say that regardless of looks, I love this woman for her character. One of my role models. Had the chance to work with her on set for the film titled "Glory Road" circa 2005. She has a such a warm spirit, very smart and funny.

I want to welcome and thank you for visiting my page. I will share my perspective on current events, health, fitness, beauty, entertainment, food, family, love and relationships, inspiration, young women empowerment and anything else that comes up. My story will be intertwined as I am excited to share my journey from the Big Easy to the Scenic City!!! If its laying heavy on my heart, I will blog about it. Period.

Liberation is key to finding and keeping passion in your life. And I feel most liberated when I write. I dedicate my blog to my sister Kailyn Elizabeth who passed away in 1995 due to Leukemia cancer. She is my guardian angel. In order to preserve her memory, I must revisit it. I will do that here as well. I also dedicate this outlet to all of my little sisters especially Karmen, A'shante, Imari and Armiya. I love you ladies, you make me so proud and you inspire me to never get tired. We rest when? When we die. That's right. SMILES. I am accomplished simply because of my FAITH. So why am I still single you ask? I am in a season of preparation. I am enduring a test of my patience, a stretch of my understanding and the outcome is going to be an AMAZING testimony for some young woman who has asked herself the same question.
