So I am doing in depth research on blood cancers esp. Leukemia and I decided to share this short article that I found. To those ladies who are expecting, cord blood can be used to save lives. Consider saving your baby's cord blood.
I can't help but to think if my family would have known/could afford cord blood banking back when my sister Kailyn was born if it could have saved her life. If you didn't know, my baby sister Kailyn lost a battle to Leukemia in 1995. She was very sick and needed a bone marrow transplant but no one in our family matched and even our bone marrow drive didn't retrieve a match for her. I have peace now knowing it was all by design and she is resting peacefully. I share this story to bring awareness. Cord Blood SAVES LIVES. Read the article & Share! -JC
